KINCORA EARTH DAY EVENT We have a fun event coming up! Spring is emerging, and Kincora is fortunate to have beautiful walking paths, ravines, and green spaces to play in. We plan to celebrate Earth Day by hosting a walk-about community cleanup on April 22nd – and we need your help. Our area of the city can be windy at times; trash and litter blow around and it accumulates in our beautiful green spaces. We will have a volunteer available at the KINCORA FIELDS between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 22nd to provide every participant with a pair of textile gloves, (clear blue) trash bag, and a small route. BONUS: The KCA has teamed up with Bow Tie Pizza to get everyone a small one-topping for picking up a bag of trash. Register to participate by emailing email@example.com, including the number of people in your party and your approximate start time. Include your address if you’d like to clean up Kincora closer to home! Information on Earth Day: Earth Day is an annual event celebrated around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, it now includes events coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network in more than 193 countries.
