We are excited to let you know that our annual Stampede Breakfast will be held on the Kincora playfields on Sunday, July 16th, 2022 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The cost is $5 per plate for non-KCA members, and FREE for KCA members. You can purchase your 2023 membership at: www.kincora.org.
The menu will include pancakes, beef sausages, halal sausages, oranges, bananas, granola bars, coffee, water, and juice boxes. *We sincerely apologize but gluten-free pancakes will not be available.
On site will be; Butterfield acres petting zoo, Girl Guides Face Painting, three bouncy houses broken up by age category, an outdoor playground, mascots, and live musicians.

Our Adopt a Rink will be lit up with a light standard for three evenings to allow for safe and fun outdoor skating, on Saturday we will have full hockey nets on the ice for everyone to enjoy.
We hope to have the “Skate Shack” free skate and helmet rental available but we need volunteers to run it. If you are available any of these days to help cover a couple of hours please email volunteers@kincora.org

Our 2023 AGM to review 2022 financials, go over our last year’s activities, share our 2023 budget, and elect a new board. The board is looking to fill vacant director board positions at the AGM.
The meeting will start at 7 pm in the Valley View room at the Symons Valley United Church.
Everyone is welcome but only those who are “active” members with their $20 yearly membership and in attendance will be allowed to vote on the by-law changes. You must have an active KCA membership (or the willingness to purchase one) to run for board positions.
This is also a great time to come out and learn what the board brings to the community and ask any questions.

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Craft fair will be held in the Valley View Room at the SVUC and the adjacent soccer fields.
(In the event of inclement weather the hunt will move indoors.)
This is a KCA member event meaning all active members can attend for free, non-member families can pay $5 per family to participate.
Come out and enjoy a handful of crafts as well as our “Easter Egg Rush!”. We cover the soccer fields in eggs and kids need to spell out E-A-S-T-E-R and return that to our crew to receive a goody bag! A ton of fun and a great site to see all the kids rush the field all at once!

– We will have two horse drawn sleigh rides going through the Kincora fields

KINCORA EARTH DAY EVENT
We have a fun event coming up! Spring is emerging, and Kincora is fortunate to have beautiful walking paths, ravines, and green spaces to play in. We plan to celebrate Earth Day by hosting a walk-about community cleanup on April 22nd – and we need your help.
Our area of the city can be windy at times; trash and litter blow around and it accumulates in our beautiful green spaces. We will have a volunteer available at the KINCORA FIELDS between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 22nd to provide every participant with a pair of textile gloves, (clear blue) trash bag, and a small route.
BONUS: The KCA has teamed up with Bow Tie Pizza to get everyone a small one-topping for picking up a bag of trash.
Register to participate by emailing secretary@kincora.org, including the number of people in your party and your approximate start time. Include your address if you’d like to clean up Kincora closer to home!

The KRA is managed by residents of Kincora who volunteer their time for the betterment of the community along with Simco Management for day to day management.
