KCA 3rd Annual Holi Festival! Let’s celebrate the Festival of Colors – Holi together. What a better way to drive away the Calgary winter than some fun with colours, music, food and dance!!! This event will be held at the KINCORA FIELDS from 2-4 pm. This is a free KCA event. Rain or Shine! Tradition is to dress in white at Holi, and you’ll end up with a multi-coloured outfit from the spray of herbal powder as we celebrate. **YYC Food Trucks will be on-site for food purchases.**

Our 2025 AGM is to review 2024 financials, go over last year’s activities, share our 2025 budget, and elect a new board. The board is looking to fill a minimum of 3 vacant director board positions at the AGM as well as gain members to a committee for community projects (e.g. new playground, new multi-sports court). Everyone is welcome, but only “active” members with their $20 yearly membership and in attendance will be allowed to vote. You must have an active KCA membership (or the willingness to purchase one) to run for board positions. Help Kincora celebrate Earth Day with a community litter pickup! We have a fun event coming up! Spring is emerging, and Kincora is fortunate to have beautiful walking paths, ravines, and green spaces to play. We plan to celebrate Earth Day by hosting a walk-about community cleanup on Saturday, April 26 (Tentative) – and we need your help. We will have a volunteer available at the KINCORA FIELDS between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. We will provide every participant with a pair of rubber gloves, a trash bag, and a small route. (All trash must be returned by 1:45 pm!) BONUS: The KCA has teamed up with Bow Tie Pizza to get all KCA members a $20 gift card for participating by returning a trash bag. (Only one gift card per person, limited quantity) Please register to participate by emailing [email protected], including the number of people in your party and your approximate start time. KCA and Symons Valley United Church are hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt event, where the kids will have fun finding eggs and will get special treats. There will also be crafts and carnival games. Please come join us on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Symons Valley United Church from 2 to 4 PM. This is a free event for KCA members or $5 per family for non-members.

Come enjoy sleigh rides, live music, skating, and refreshments at the Kincora rink and fields. This is a FREE event for anyone in the City of Calgary. – We will have two horse drawn sleigh rides going through the Kincora fields – The KCA will have the “Skate Shack” onsite for free skate and helmet rentals. – Firepits will be going – Refreshments provided onsite TBD We want you to bring your friends and family and enjoy all the outdoors that Kincora has to offer! 15th ANNUAL KCA STAMPEDE BREAKFAST When: Sunday, July 14th, 2024 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Where: Kincora Fields **The cost is $5 per plate for non-KCA members and FREE for KCA members.** You can purchase your 2024 membership at: https://kincora.org/register/ The menu will include pancakes, beef sausages, halal sausages, oranges, bananas, granola bars, coffee, water, and juice boxes. **We sincerely apologize, but gluten-free pancakes will not be available.** On-site will be: Butterfield Acres petting zoo, Girl Guides Face Painting, three bouncy houses broken up by age category, an outdoor playground, mascots, and live musicians.
