Our annual Community Clean Up will be held Sunday May 2nd from 9am – 12pm.
The City will be on site with garbage and recycling.
Local Scout Troop will be doing a bottle drive
Navajo Metals will be on site to accept any ferrous metals that shouldn’t go in a black bin.
Techno Trash will accept the following;
~ TV’s (LCD, CRT or Plasma)
~ Computer Systems including:
~ Computer Accessories (Monitors, mice, keyboards & speakers)
~Computer parts (Cables, Cords, fans, power supplies, Hard drives for destruction, CPU, ram chips and boards)
~ Laptops, notebooks, tablets and E-readers
~ Printers, Fax Machines, Copiers and Scanners
~ Small CLEAN household appliances: Fans, hair dryers, heaters, irons, microwaves, toasters, vacuums (empty only), etc.
~ Audio visual: CD players, VCR/DVD players, stereo equipment, cable boxes, satellite equipment, digital cameras, video cameras, etc.
~ Networking/Telecommunications Equipment (hubs, switches, modems, routers and phones), Cell phones and charges, answering machines, etc.
~ All power and air tools: drills, grinders, saws, nail guns, compressors, table saws, etc.
~ Games, toys and music including: Amplifiers, guitars, keyboards, microphones, electric/electronic toys, Video gaming equipment including game cartridges.
~ Wires and Cables (Christmas lights less bulbs)
~ Testing Equipment, Circuit boards
You can do as many trips as you like at no charge but as always the KCA would love for you to purchase a membership.

Kincora Community Association – Annual General Meeting 2019
We will review 2019 financials, have a presentation from the President, field questions from the floor, and elect a new board.
At present 9 of 11 board members have indicated a desire to return to the board. However we do require two new members. The role of Secretary and Director of Sponsorship currently sit vacant. If you are interested in joining the board please attend the AGM or contact President Travis Merrick at [email protected]
Due to ongoing Covid restrictions we will request the following;
– Masks must be worn while in attendance
– Social distancing guidelines must be followed
– Please only one person per household as we are limited on number of attendees
– There will be no printed materials and agenda and financials will be available on our website
– We will look at live broadcasting the event, details to be found on our website and Facebook closer to the event.
– Voting can only be done in person as per our bylaws
– You must be a paid member to vote, we ask that you purchase a membership online prior to your arrival at the AGM

It’s back! The KCA is happy to host and promote our annual Parade of Garage Sales.
Garage, driveway, yard…drag your stuff out and clean out the house like your spouse has been asking since late March!
To have your home added to our pinned map simply email [email protected] with your address. All KCA members will be pinned. We will be advertising the parade in the Herald, Sun, Kijiji, and on Facebook to get the most buyers possible. If you’re not a member your $20 donation to become a member supports the KCA (and we could certainly use it this year). Become a member on the “About” tab.
Note: All homes are responsible for their own hours of operation. We do encourage social distancing even outside with a “look but don’t touch” policy unless you’re going to purchase.

Although we can’t have our regular Neighbour Day block parties the KCA wanted to encourage Kincorans to participate in a local Scavenger Hunt!

The Kincora Community Association will be holding a Canada Day Outdoor Home Decorating Contest in the community on July 1st.
Decorate your home and you could win a prize!

Canda Day Parade of Cars to view the decorated homes
(Meeting at SV United Church parking lot at 1:30 pm. Parade will begin at 2 pm)
